Dick gave an informative, motivating, and entertaining presentation to the members of Chesapeake Chapter. Our members enjoyed it and walked away having learned so much that better prepares them to use Word to create quality documents. I would highly recommend organizations invite Dick to provide his Word training!

Dick Eassom was literally my first encounter the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). I called the phone number on their website and Dick (CEO at the time) immediately answered the phone! I've considered him a role model/mentor ever since and attend his legendary Wordman sessions every chance I get. Most recently I reached out to Dick for a recommendation for redacting very large quantities of data in a Word document. Yes, there is a application that does this, but it doesn't work very well and it was causing us no end of headaches. Within an hour of sending Dick an email, I heard back from him with an easy to use, flexible, elegantly simple solution that not only solved our problem with Word, but also proved useful in other applications. Trust me, if Dick doesn't know or can't figure out how to format something in Word it probably can't be done (without breaking laws of physics). Dick Eassom (aka Wordman) IS a real life superhero!

I just had the enormous pleasure of working long distance with Dick. I had used an amazing routine he wrote for Word for Windows. I needed a version to work on my Mac. I contacted Dick through his website and asked for his help. Without hesitation, he jumped right into the challenge! He worked with me over the course of two days until he successfully made the necessary modifications. It works like a charm! I had been to two presentations Dick gave at conventions I attended. He was impressive then. He was even more impressive "in person." Not many people would have made the effort he did. If you have a chance to use his services, don't hesitate!

We had Dick do a Wordman workshop on-site. He did a great job with a diverse group consisting of proposal writers, report and documentation specialists. He tailored the session to our needs and answered all of our questions whether they were on the syllabus or not. He truly has a master's level knowledge of Microsoft Word and provided an enlightening session with humor and grace. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a help unlocking all of the mysteries of Word, proposal writing or not, to have Dick show you the secrets. You will definitely be a lot more Word smart when he leaves.

I met Dick at a Shipley offered class for Wordman in Fairfax, VA, in 2012. His knowledge of Microsoft products is superb. An overwhelming expert! He gave us a thumb drive with 40+ published articles he has written. I now have my own library book of his wisdom. Just need to read it! I highly recomend Dick Eassom as an instructor and as a consultant. He is a master of Microsoft Word knowledge and is a very personable instructor.

Having worked in the proposal management industry for nearly 30 years now, there's not too much that surprises me. Wordman's Hiliter tool for Microsoft Word is certainly a pleasant one! I participated in a full day, one-on-one Microsoft Word training course with Dick in preparation for a proposal effort. His course provided comprehensible solutions (and tricks) to many problems and challenges one encounters while generating Word documents. Through implementing his training, I was able to develop and manage proposal documents with a far more dynamic and intuitive approach. After experiencing the training course, I also found myself in a much better position to troubleshoot most problems that arose. In addition, Dick provided many articles - with thorough and practical explanations - to walk away with. For issues I could not resolve alone, Dick provided very timely and effective follow-up support. He is a very genuine and professional individual that I would recommend to anyone in proposal development.
